I
will be visiting Radzilow in October and was so pleased to find your site.
I was very excited when I saw the pictures of Chaim Berek Gutwert and
Marian Remba and their family. I believe he is my grandmother's brother
although I had their names listed as Chaim Berek Gutferd and Miriam Remba.
If you have any more information on them I would love to have it.
My grandparents were Hinda and Berek Wolf (Velva?) Gutferd. In the US
their names were Benjamin and Ida Godfrey. Most of their family settled in
Philadelphia. I really enjoyed your pictures of the town. Thanks so much.

I
found this site because my sister-in-law Debbie Schaffer showed me all the
hard work that you, Jose, did to find her relatives. Loved the picture of
my father-in-law, Herman Bagwin, and also the pictures of the shtetls and
the other people. Job well done!!!!!! I hope to see 50 more guests by the
end of the year.

What
a wonderful job you have done. I was born in this little village. Most of
those events that you described I learned from stories told by my
grandmother. I think it's very important to show the true story, what really
happened. Reading some of the testimonies made me fell so angry, and ashamed
of my own people, people I have known most of my short life. I would like to
help you corrected some of the names, and places you described. so well. |

Klugman is a cousin. I'm confused because my mother thinks this is where

great. I've been to Finland, visited the cemetery and met relatives --
assume no relatives in Poland.

What
a wonderful surprise! This web page represents a piece of Jewish history
that is soon to be forgotten. I have longed many times to dig deeper into
my family roots, from their home near Lomza, Poland to their immigration
to America, and finally to their tragedy during the holocaust. What I have
read today grips me as if I were reading my own family history. It is both
historically detailed and poignantly dramatic. This is a web site worthy
of great praise. Indeed, the time and effort that went into compiling this
information and sharing it publicly is truly a mitzvah. I thank you and my
future generations thank you.

I
was just wondering if anyone knows if Lejzor (Lewis) Fishman (Fiszkowski)
had any brothers or sisters, and if his wife or my great grandmother Celia
(Cywia) Moruszewska had any brothers or sisters! If you have any family
information please E mail me at Cartruck@aol.com
I would like to find out about the Fishman (Fiszkowski) family, there were
2 sisters that were adopted in the year 1914 (aprox). I know their names
were changed, I think their names are Erlich. The 2 sisters names were Ann
and Rose (Rachel). Their family owned a jewelry store in Detroit Michigan.
It was located on Hasting and Adams. I found this name Jos-Dora Erlich, I
don't know if it means anything, but if you have any family info, please
let me know, thank you!
Barry Fishman (Fiszkowski) oh, I like the old name!
