Old Wooden Church in Radzilow

Text From: Zapust w Radzilowie Brochure (Obtained in Radzilow):

Note: I did not correct translation or grammatical errors; this is exactly as it was written in English in the brochure.

The eventful past of Radzilow did not leave many historic monuments. We should pay attention to the old urban pattern maintaining the urban characteristics, and numerous objects from the turn of the 19th century - houses and farm buildings. In the new Parish Church, a late-gothic crucifix from the 16th century.

The old church - wooden, baroque, dating from the years 1463-1474, rebuilt in 1739 - transported to nearby Kramarzewo [4.8 miles NE of Radzilow] in 1983 [after the new church was built], is the most precious monument in the community. Inside, attention is drawn to the baroque pulpit made in about 1781 in Pultusk, the baroque-classicistic organ retable from 1839, altars made in the baroque-classisistic manner from 1870.

The whole interior is enriched by the ornamental polychrome of Stanislaw Dlugozima project, made in 1962.
